Twenty-six-year veteran Jeremy Lane takes the helm of sales and marketing to drive Baloian Farms’ next growth phase
On May 5, 2025, fourth-generation grower-packer-shipper Baloian Farms elevated long-time team member Jeremy Lane to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, entrusting the 26-year veteran with guiding the company’s commercial strategy and brand development as it pursues additional growth in the premium fresh-produce sector.

Lane’s promotion follows more than a decade as Sales Manager and nearly three decades of hands-on service that has seen him rotate through quality control, shipping, transportation logistics, field operations, and sales.
He has also spent 18 years on the firm’s leadership team, experience that executives say positions him to lead sales execution while nurturing customer relationships in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
During his tenure as Sales Manager, Lane oversaw commodity programs, set and met annual revenue targets, and coordinated the in-house logistics and quality-control departments that support year-round distribution.
Those responsibilities integral to Baloian Farms’ vertically integrated model will now expand to include long-range marketing initiatives designed to strengthen the company’s presence with retailers, food-service buyers, and consumers across North America.

“Jeremy has been a driving force behind Baloian Farms’ growth and innovation. His leadership skills, vision, and contributions have been invaluable to the company. He is well-equipped to assume a more prominent role where he can continue to lead the team. I am thankful for the privilege of working alongside Jeremy all these years. He is what makes this company so special.”

Lane, who grew up in California’s Central Valley and joined the family-run operation while in college, said the new post is both an honor and an opportunity to build on the foundation he helped create.

“I’m deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to take on the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing after ten incredible years as Sales Manager. I have so much appreciation for the Baloian family whose leadership, vision, and support have been instrumental in my growth. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to the amazing people within our company. It’s their passion, commitment, and resilience that truly make this company what it is. As we look ahead, I’m excited about the future of our company and the opportunities ahead of us. Together, we’ll continue to grow, innovate, and push forward, ensuring that this family farm thrives for generations to come.”

Baloian Farms traces its roots to 1917 and now supplies peppers, squash, and other vegetables from farming operations in California, Arizona, and Mexico.
The vertically integrated structure enables the company to oversee every link of the chain from seed selection and field stewardship to harvesting, cooling, and nationwide distribution allowing Lane’s sales and marketing unit to deliver what the firm describes as “premium-quality produce, year-round.”
Industry analysts note that sales leadership at produce suppliers increasingly includes brand-building, data-driven demand planning, and sustainability messaging areas Lane has shepherded internally for years.
In his new role, he is expected to accelerate customer-centric programs that emphasize consistent supply, transparent sourcing, and collaborative category management, while continuing to supervise in-house freight and food-safety teams that have become central to Baloian Farms’ reputation.
With Lane at the commercial helm and a focus on expanding retail partnerships, Baloian Farms aims to capitalize on the growing consumer appetite for traceable, family-farmed vegetables.
The appointment underscores the company’s commitment to promoting leadership from within and signals confidence that its next phase of growth will be rooted in the institutional knowledge and relationships Lane has cultivated over more than a quarter-century of service.
